Jeju Olle, day 4
Jeju Olle, Day 4
The next few sections are the long ones. So the plan is to do three sections in two days and then to have another rest day while doing 14-1 on Monday.
So early morning wake up and getting ready for the day.
The trail was fun — missing the right turn a couple of times, once making a proper full loop, meeting some nice people on the trail. Eventful. Then most of trail 11 and a part of trail 12 go through the farmlands. Which is cute, but how many pictures of the leek fields can one make? So, not many pictures from me on that part of the trail.
The second half of the trail 12 goes along the coast though, and that is gorgeous. Still, pictures cannot catch the color of the water properly, which is a shame. On the other hand, it is good that something is still available only in the non-digital world.
I got to my accommodation still full of energy and half an hour before the check-in time, so I went till the end of the section, checked in the stamp and returned to the accommodation.
Sweet hosts, cute little hostel in a small fishing village and it seems I am the only one staying here today.
Oh, and I got tired of burning my face, so I bought a fancy hiking hat with the trail logo and stuff. We’ll see how long it will last.
Going early to bed today. Tomorrow is a short 20km hike, but I do want to finish it before the rain starts. And, well, to be honest, there isn’t much to do here anyway.
