Jeju Olle, day 15
Jeju Olle, Day 15
Suuuper late start. I got to hang out with some locals in the morning, so I only really hit the trail past noon. Thus had to hit hard to make it before the sunset.
The first section had a nice oreum with some beautiful views of the surroundings. Meanwhile, out of two options for the second section I picked the shorter coastal trail — both because of the time and accumulated fatigue. Overall, I feel like taking it easy for these few days left. The coast here is mostly black volcanic rocks, with some sandy beaches here and there, both white sand and black sand.
The end of today’s section is in a small town near a huge white sand beach. It isn’t really wide — more like a bay than an open coast. But the distance from the road to the water when I was passing it was more than 500m of sand. That looks like a lot of sand.
Luckily for me, this town has a soft tofu stew place with a vegetarian option. So yay, got to eat something other than bibimbap.
