Jeju Olle, Day 14

Lazy day. Went for a short walk to a nearby hill, but other than that just lazed around for a day.

Well, I do call it a hill. But actually it is a small (inactive) volcano cone called Sunrise Peak or Seongsan Ilchulbong in Korean. It is the easternmost point of Jeju island and allows one to peek inside the crater as well as opens beautiful views towards the town.

It also looks quite imposing from the side. They say the sunrise views from there are gorgeous. But seeing the weather forecast for tomorrow, I won’t even bother trying to wake up that early in the morning. Maybe some other time.
