1:30 pm — TSH, day 46

I woke up normally and started walking a bit past 6am. Thus I was able to walk all the streets of Kyoto to the mountains before the real heat started. The trail was nice and obvious and by 13.00 I was already at mt.Ponpon. After the day of rest walking is quite easy and comfortable, so I think I’ll try to reach Ryuo-san today to spend a night with a view of night Osaka.

Btw, the view from Ponpon-san should be also great, but because of high humidity the visibility is too limited.

7:30 pm — Wrapping the day

I managed to get to the top of Ryuo-san after the sunset. The observation deck is cool and I’ll try to remember to take a picture of it tomorrow.

For now I’m enjoying the view of the night city. I’m setting my tent on the top of the observation deck. It is warm enough to set it without an outer rain-cover tent, and in case of rain I’d rather move the tent to the lower floor. I doubt it’s a good idea to stay on the roof near a lightning rod in a thunderstorm.
