8:00 am — TSH, day 16

The day started quite late, I only got to a trail around 8am. The shuttle bus unexpectedly cost me less than half of a train cost.

The day was a normal long tough hiking day with some lakes, mountains and shrines on the way.

12:30 pm — Haruno-san

A temple at mt.Haruno. Unfortunately I couldn’t take a picture of the 1300-year-old cypress tree there because… Well, because it is huge and simply doesn’t fit the frame…

Small shrine with stone lanterns and stairs in greenery

8:30 pm — Wrapping the day

At the end of the day I managed to get to Akiha Camping. Tired, wet and dirty. Since I got there after sunset obviously the reception was already closed. Thus after discussing it with other guests I simply set the tent. I’ll talk to the receptionist tomorrow.

According to the plan I should have been staying here for two nights, yet I don’t like the gravelly riverbed my tent is set on so I’m going to move to the next camping tomorrow.
