2:30 pm — TSH, day 6

富士山絶景ポイント

The rain has started at night and it is pouring all the day long without stopping. So I am sleeping, eating, looking through manga magazines I’ve found in the room. In other words, I’m resting to my heart’s content. Remember, there is no wifi here.

Oh, and I can’t confirm if Fuji-san is visible from my room’s window ‘cause it is all cloudy and rainy. I hope I’ll be able to see it tomorrow morning.

Fusuma sliding doors with painted grass design
Wooden shelf with a stuffed pheasant, a kimono doll in a glass case, and a stack of manga magazines

7:00 pm — Shoji-ko

In the evening the rain calmed down a bit and I went on a walk around the lake.

Foggy lake with mountains obscured by clouds
Lake view through greenery with misty mountains

10:00 pm — Wrapping the day

The day was good, I feel energetic enough to continue the trail. I hope the forecast will be true and tomorrow there will be no rain.

Lake shore with boat dock and cloudy mountains
Panoramic view of lake on overcast evening
Dusk view of lake with purple sky and mist
