Mount Kinka

Lucky me, Kinkazan is just a short walk away from me. As one goes over the trails up the mount — beautiful views are opening to the eyes. I am fascinated by this combination of seemingly flat urban city with green mountains rising here and there.

Squirrels

Aside from Oda Nobunaga’s castle, the mountain offers an opportunity to feed and play around with the local squirrels. For safety reasons you are given thick working gloves that allow the squirrels to jump over your hand without risk of getting scratches.
