Jeju Olle, Day 12

Could be a result of having plenty of rest, I woke up a bit before the alarm clock. The weather seems to be fine. Both on the forecast and in the window. Today is two sections hike again, so I’d better start earlier.

Turquoise sea with dark rocks under clear blue sky
Wind turbines rise beyond rocky shoreline and turquoise bay
Coastal view from cliff with turquoise bay and village

While the views are still as amazing, they are basically the same as what I’ve seen so far. Thus the attention keeps shifting from the outside to the inside. And that’s where hiking becomes more difficult. Not in terms of physical ability, even though the accumulated fatigue can be clearly felt. But more in terms of looking into the faces of all those inner demons. Though that’s also an important part of the journey. Still, might be a good thing a few rainy days are coming soon. Might use this opportunity to rest and recharge.

Elevated view of Seongsan Ilchulbong tuff cone and farm fields
Wooded hillside overlooking blue sea and distant island
Forested hills with Hallasan volcano on hazy horizon
Jagged black lava rocks along coast with distant island
